The High Line project was about the implementation of a cable car in the urban space in Frankfurt am Main. We cooperated with Doppelmayer and Engineers Darmstadt.
I developed a modular cabin, which through its exterior and interior gives the visitor both the comfort he needs but the experience of the ride in the foreground.
The cabin is open inside and allows movement during the ride. Through the 360 degree glass you can see the panorama and the city in all directions. In addition, the arm is movable and can rotate both during the ride and when getting off. This, in combination with the door on both sides, can speed up and simplify the entry and exit.

Bei dem Projekt High Line ging es um die Realisierung einer Seilbahn im Stadtraum von Frankfurt und Offenbach am Main. Es war eine Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma Doppelmayer und den Ingenieuren Darmstadt.
Ich habe eine modulare Kabine entwickelt, die durch ihr Äußeres und Inneres dem Besucher sowohl den nötigen Komfort bietet, als auch das Erlebnis der Fahrt in den Vordergrund stellt.
Die Kabine ist innen offen und ermöglicht Bewegung während der Fahrt. Durch das 360 Grad Glas hat man einen Blick auf das Panorama und die Stadt in alle Richtungen. Zudem ist der Arm beweglich und kann sowohl während der Fahrt als auch beim Aussteigen gedreht werden. In Kombination mit den Türen auf beiden Seiten kann dies das Ein- und Aussteigen beschleunigen und vereinfachen.
